Account Deletion Policy

How to request deletion of your SLP Atlas account and data.

Effective Date: July 8, 2026

At SLP Atlas, we respect your right to control your personal information. This Account Deletion Policy explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data, and what happens when you do.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through any of the following methods:

2. Verification

To protect your account from unauthorized deletion, we will verify your identity before processing your request. This may include confirming your email address or account details.

3. What Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion, we will remove:

  • Your account profile and display name
  • Your email address and login credentials
  • Your saved favorites and preferences
  • Your profile photo
  • Your community posts, replies, and material exchange listings
  • Your uploaded documents and files
  • Your clinical reports and progress tracking data

4. What May Be Retained

We may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Records necessary to comply with legal obligations.
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you.
  • Limited transaction records related to subscription payments (processed by Apple or Google).
  • Information needed to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.

5. Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your SLP Atlas account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription billed through Apple App Store or Google Play. You must cancel your subscription directly through Apple or Google to avoid future charges.

6. Timeline

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of verification. Some data may take longer to fully remove from backup systems, but it will no longer be accessible or used.

7. Irreversibility

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover your data, favorites, or community contributions. If you wish to use SLP Atlas again, you will need to create a new account.

8. Data You Should Remove First

Before requesting deletion, we recommend you download or export any content you wish to keep, such as clinical reports, uploaded documents, or community posts. Once deletion is complete, this content will no longer be accessible.
